Very interesting course. Has given me confidence in dealing with suicidal clients.
I really enjoyed being a part of this training session. In my job role we have limited input in regards to suicide and relevent mental health calls into the police so this session did broaden my knowledge and understanding of how i can help a person in need. It also taught me different techniques and skills that i can use to interact with someone with suicidal thoughts that can help get a positive outcome for everyone
A difficult topic but everyone shared experiences and learnt something new. Did like the updated response words: Flight, Fight, Freeze and FLOCK, quite true! So sad that some countries still view suicide as a crime
Great course, good to remind self of signs of suicide as well as to learn the statistics surrounding suicide.
