This course will help me in my work life, personal life and community life.
I was a bit apprehensive about attending the course as I didn't know what to expect and suicide seems to be something I would previously have found difficult to talk about. But Alison dispelled a lot of myths and detailed the role of suicide first aiders so I now feel a lot more confident about approaching anyone who may be thinking about suicide.
Was very good and accessible. Improvement would be a person with lived experience co-delivering and participating
We all need to do ASIST course, please push for it in all organisations
Brilliant and informative course! It was interesting to hear Sarah speak on some of her own personal experiences supporting someone with suicidal thoughts. I feel more confident to speak to and support someone who had these thoughts.
This was a really good training and well needed in supporting service users and colleagues, especially on how to step in to distract and stop someone from thoughts and plans of suicide and of carrying it out.
Thank you for an amazing delivery, very informative and well delivered. I have done training with this Tutor before and instantly felt at ease when I saw her again.
