Really good course that covered some theory but ultimately gave some practical guidance on what do say/do when talking to someone who has expressed suicidal thoughts. A lot of courses are interesting but you're often left unsure how to use what's been discussed - this course had a good mix of both I think.

Despite it being a virtual session with the accompanying technical snags, it was both well delivered and well received.

Excellent training session. The trainer did a fantastic job making it interactive and interesting despite being an online session.

This was my first experience of virtual/online training and I found it to be very positive. I felt that the duration was just right and the support was there if needed due to the sensitive nature of the discussions.

very good session and engaging. This was a session via skype and it can be difficult to keep people engaged but Nell was very good

The training was well structured. My knowledge about SFA has improved.

Just like any other first aid course, refresher courses for mental health first aid should also become a priority because depending on your job role, it may be only occasionally that you are able to help someone having suicidal thoughts. Courses like this are incredibly important initially but also ongoing. The videos were excellent and helped give 'real life' examples for us to relate to.

The training has defiantely gievn me more confidence to discuss and recognise signs. I think there is always room for improvement though from me as a practicioner.

Very rewarding training session - thoroughly enjoyed and what was an interesting topic was made relatable and easily digestible by a very good trainer.
