Suicide prevention is tackled differently from community to another. As a member of the African and Caribbean community, it's important to mention that this topic is somehow taboo, but as some unfortunates events have been happening with some young people taking their lives, more and more people are ready to discuss further. It would be great to explore a cultural approach when talking about suicide to this specific group.

It was a well delivered course. The question I asked in private was well responded to and well answered my query. It was an honest discussion and has left me feeling more prepared.

It was a really good course, and I am so glad that I have now completed it. It has definitely added to my own knowledge of how to talk to someone experiencing suicidal thoughts, and it's really helpful to now know the 3 steps to how to effectively help someone. I am certain this will be of benefit in future jobs and general life.

I think it loses something from being delivered online. Conversations not able to flow so easily. People more easily distracted when not in the room together. Nevertheless, still a very good course addressing the purpose clearly and sensitively

The booklet being virtual did make things difficult, especially as it could not be printed or written on. Having it as a word document would have been helpful or having a completed booklet sent out after the session would be good.
