Uncomfortable in parts, but necessary to explore the subject properly.
Was very informative as a lite course. Information on statistics and percentages was eye opening.
I wasn't sure what to expect starting this awareness course. I have some personal experience of suicide of moderately close family and my husband does voluntary work as a listener. I was comfortable talking about suicide from my own perspective but this course has helped me feel more confident talking to other people e.g. who I might recognise concerns or changes in and give me some guidance on what I would actually say and do if someone I talked about suicide to was on the continuum.
HELPED ME GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF SUICIDE AND ENJOYED BEING ABLE TO LEARN. ALLOWED ME TO GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING ON SIGNS OF SUICIDAL INDIVUDIALS. ENCOURAGED ME TO NOT BE AFARID TO ASK IF I FEEL WORRIED FOR SOMEONE
Very interesting topic, very under reported or spoken about. I feel Dorset Police should get this training to understand Suicide.
I really enjoyed todays session It was very Informative and interesting
