I'm very pleased that I decided to do this training. It has given me the knowledge and confidence to talk about the subject openly to someone who might be struggling with the idea of suicide. It also made me realise that the responsibility for someone who might make that decision is not solely on one individual but that the individual can be part of a collective of family, professional and support networks . I also realised that suicide is an avoidable death and not everyone who thinks about it want to end their lives.

Today cases of depression and suicide are on rise, so such a course is very important to assess comunication skills for suicide prevention.

I was particularly pleased with how engaging the tutor was. Not once did I feel tired or bored. It was a true pleasure, especially considering the course subject/topic of conversation.

A great session. Its very hard to deliver training online and keep everyone engaged but Christo manged it well. I also felt looked after throughout. I had to dive off to deal with a child mid way through the course and didnt think to tell him. He immediately called me and messaged me to see if i was ok. This meant alot.

A really useful course, time well spent and should be shared more widely. Would like more men to be aware that this sort of course exists.

I would feel a lot better about asking the question and know have steps I can take to help someone who is thinking about suicide.

As an incredibly complex and challenging subject I felt this short course gave me the front line response.
