An amazing course that I highly recommend! I work in the field of mental health and this course has given me a mindset that will definitely influence my practice from here on. Breaking the silence around the taboo of suicide is extremely important and this course, if made mandatory for allied mental health professionals, particularly management within policy writing, could actually be the start of the future that mental health service so desperately need.
This course was very informative and useful. I have learnt some new skills. I am now better equipped to use these skills learnt in my role to support our patients. Thank you
Was definitely needed - perhaps needs to be delivered sooner for other newer team members as we take calls from mental health patients regularly before this training is delivered.
She was great, thank you. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Andy is an excellent trainer, could not find a fault in the training
Course was interesting and eye opening. I now feel more confident.
This training was very good and relevant to our overall practice. It was also very good to lay ground rules at the start to ensure we all felt safe in sharing. This was helpful.
The course is very important for our careers and is knowledgeable.
I really enjoyed this course and the way it was presented. The atmosphere was professional but enjoyable which made it easy to navigate the seriousness of the situation. It highlighted important steps and how it should be treated the same as BLS. It gave me confidence to be blunt with asking the question about suicide as normally I feel I would have tiptoed around the subject and allowed the person in crisis to deflect.
