Nice course. Good length. Didn’t feel too heavy. Plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Felt well supported through the session.
Thank you Tim for your time in conducting the session this morning. It was very informative and well presented which made it relevant to our roles as clinicians.
The course was very informative and left me thinking of so much and how important and needed the course is . To be sensitive and kind to those who need to be listened to and heard and not to patronise or make a situation worse, by not being empathic and showing concern for their needs. The course teaches the need to be vigilant, open my eyes and look for the signs and keep looking and listening and seeing changes in body language. This was my first suicide introduction course and I would like to say thank you for the opportunity. I hope to develop this to a one day course.
A great deal of techniques and tools to not only recognize but intervene appropriately.
This was an excellent and well-researched course. The material on the different factors that make a person more susceptible to trying to take their life by suicide and on the suicide continuum were particularly helpful. Similarly being able to relate these to signs that we might recognise and respond to.
Really helped cement currently knowledge around the topic and add some additional thoughts and concepts.
Delivery was good, it was very helpful to have it broken down into sections and breaks. It was more of a positive course about a difficult subject, and prior to that I think we were all a little unsure of how we would feel about it.
