The trainers’ deep legal and safeguarding expertise, approachable style and ability to make complex frameworks understandable through real cases and practical examples are highly valued. Attendees describe the sessions as interactive and well paced, with breakout discussions, reflection and peer experience keeping learning engaging. The course strengthens confidence in applying legislation, documenting decisions and supporting staff at work, with useful materials and further reading to revisit. Some find the court-focused content less relevant to senior clinical roles.

Day 1 was excellent. Day 2 was good however, a lot of time was spent talking about preparing for court, although interesting it felt protracted and basic for senior professionals; being told we should eat, be organised, sort parking and arrange childcare etc before court. I would rather have spent more time doing case studies to being the legal and regulatory frameworks to life.

Fantastic course, so helpful for my job role. Day 1 was much more relevant to me as I wanted to understand legislation around my job which I now do. Sue was a fantastic trainer - very knowledgeable in her field and interesting to listen to. Thank you

The course was over 2 days and the second day related to evidence and court- of which I have a lot of experience, though it was interesting. As stated by others it would have been useful to have the training before going to court. The first day covered the legal framework for safeguarding- I am new to the named doctor role and as yet haven't had much experience with the role. I still need to do a lot of reading and improve my understanding of the laws/ acts governing safeguarding

This is my 3rd Bond Solon level 4. The first was face to face and the second two inline. Very good content, relevance and flexibility to respond to the dynamics of the group, encouraging discussion and exploration of real issues affecting practitioners

this course was interesting and the trainer was great at answering the qs of the group. however this did lead to the timetable being quite significantly adjusted. day 1 expanded heavily into d2 meaning there were only a few hours to discuss areas that were more relevant to my role eg the court etc stuff. we spent large amounts of time discussing MCA and DOLs, which was interesting but took more time than scheduled. it is a shame as i think it would have been useful to have discussed the d2 timetabled subjects in more detail.

Some really useful information re the law, DOLS, MCA and court A little to adult focused for me at times with the audience questions sometimes taking a longtime to answer and meaning some parts of the course that I thought we would spend more time on were not covered as thoroughly.
