The trainers’ deep legal and safeguarding expertise, approachable style and ability to make complex frameworks understandable through real cases and practical examples are highly valued. Attendees describe the sessions as interactive and well paced, with breakout discussions, reflection and peer experience keeping learning engaging. The course strengthens confidence in applying legislation, documenting decisions and supporting staff at work, with useful materials and further reading to revisit. I really enjoyed the two days. Some was a refresher but I also picked up new information.

i would have liked more case studies less time spent on the ones we did have and some more facilitator guidance in the breakout rooms - perhaps popping in to direct discussion

We had a very knowledgeable trainer and a good mix of students. However few suggestions from my side. 1. An expensive course like this should have multidisciplinary faculty including doctors, safeguarding professionals and legal professionals. 2. To add more variety in teaching with audio-visuals. 3. It will be good to create real life scenarios.

Very informative course which will aid my role and having the course materials to look back on will be helpful in future safeguarding situations. I will be mindful of my documentation moving forward. It was interesting hearing how certain words that I use on a daily basis can be interpreted and how I should change them to be more accurate in descriptions.

Meena was excellent and extremely knowledgeable in her areas of expertise Whilst clearly coming from a legal background Meena was able to demonstrate an understanding of the complexities of the health service and issues that staff may face within those roles
