Its distinctive strength is making record keeping’s legal and professional consequences tangible: attendees say knowledgeable, approachable trainers use healthcare scenarios, case studies, role-play and breakout discussions to turn a potentially dry subject into an engaging, practical session. The course clarifies how to write accurate, timely, factual notes, builds confidence and prompts reflection, with learning readily applied to daily clinical and managerial practice. I felt this course could have been delivered in 1 - 2 hours and the level and nature of the content did not justify a full day. I felt due to it being solely from a legal perspective attempting to cover questions and requirements from a wide range of health disciplines and backgrounds and recording methods, it was difficult for it to achieve a great deal this without more clinical/IT input.
