Accurate Written Communication reviews

AI summary of reviews

Practical techniques for spotting errors and improving written communication are the course’s clearest strength: attendees value the ABC of Email, E-checking method, open-question checklists and other tips they can apply to emails, letters, reports and daily work. They describe knowledgeable, personable trainers who use humour, examples, breakout groups and exercises to encourage reflection and participation, while the workbook and toolkit provide useful follow-up. Some feel the programme could be condensed, but it remains informative and engaging.

Very well constructed. I do feel it could be done on one day rather than two half days.

Great course especially like the checklist part and think that this could be very useful in many roles to have a checklist for certain tasks.

Karen was highly engaging throughout the course. The toolkit provided for follow-up, including resources like the ABC of email communication, offers excellent takeaways that I can apply to my day-to-day work.

When I was completing the second test, when I hovered my mouse over the boxes there would be a smiley face or not which would imply the answer was correct or not, I found this quite offputting

Response: Hi Katie, Good spot - it made me double check and I can see what's happened here. If you hover over the 'Same' box then the symbol ': S' appears and when you hover over the 'Different' box then the symbol ': D' appears. These signify 'S' or 'D' for 'Same or Different' but now you mention it they can be read like emojis! I'm glad you pointed it out as it's the first time I've noticed it.

Karen made the training relevant for everyone's roles which was great.
