Jim was a fantastic trainer. His ability to relate course content to his experience was very good. A very engaging trainer who was easy to work with and has helped me to learn a lot.
Tim was very effective, friendly and clearly very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the training and will try to adapt it into my role moving forwards. I don't think that the skill of interviewing can be learned in a single day, so I'm hoping there will be future opportunities (beyond the follow-up session) to develop confidence in an interview context.
Tim has been great, very welcoming and created a comfortable learning environment :)
Excellent and engaging training style. Learnt lots
I found the course very useful and enjoyable. The interactive sections were most useful and informative.
Thank you for an excellent session. I feel a lot more confident now to go out there and conduct interviews. I feel confident that I will be able to apply the skills you have taught me.
really enjoyed the course - Tim delivered an excellent session with humour. The role play was engaging and informative
Tim was engaging and provided easy to understand content from personal experience and made it role specific to my role and my organisation. It was a very good experience.
The trainer was excellent, and some of the most engaging training I have ever had. He made a point to keep everyone included and paced himself really well so that it was easy to keep up and understand what he was saying. The content itself is familiar to me but I have not had formal training before, this was a good overview of what it is and how to apply it. I think if the SRA could have funded more days, at least one more day would have been useful. I think it was heavily tailored to police/suspect interviewing, whereas in my specific role and most of those in investigation in the SRA, we tend to have casual phone calls and take civil statements, and I think this training could have been more tailored to our specific roles rather than generic. As I think its unlikely I will do this level of interviewing in my role.
