This was an excellent course. I’ve shared my feedback with training and development and will be recommending others to attend as soon as they can.

For us as a service although the course was absolutely fantastic really informative but we would need more specific content to dementia behaviours it felt more focused on learning disability and autism. Although I personally can apply it to the behaviours we experience. I think that for our staff it may not feel relatable to them and would make it more difficult to apply. Overall though the course content was very detailed and of high quality. Just one little note, you never did it to me BUT I found the fist pumps patronising I wouldn’t have liked it. So maybe it would be good to explain your style at the session and give people the opportunity to advise if they like that sort of engagement or praise.

I feel the hand book could have bigger boxes to input more information, some boxes could have some information from slides already input so I could spend more time listening to the instructor over writing notes over all the course was delivered fantastic one of the best courses I have attended in a long time a lot of valuable information to take back and implement within my organisation to improve my service of support to the individuals

Sadly, the trainer haven't done my previous PBS training because now I understand PBS and I'm in care sector for nearly 20 years. Only the workbooks could change a little bit but this can be sorted quickly and haven't had a massive influence of the quality. Some more space to write notes down and maybe some more info in the workbook which was shown to us via projector. But the training and trainer... absolutely great! Amazing!
