Good approach from Carly, very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. COVID restrictions made it difficult in order to fully undertake course and processes however understandable in the current situation

I really appreciated the course and will proudly add it to my CV. With the information I will keep a more informed eye on someone in my family whose mentioned suicide in the past. I’ll also be better prepared to support a local gentleman, who recently lost his wife to Covid, who seems very lost. I thought I would share all the help agencies out of my manual with him. The only downside was Day 2 fell in a Sunday, a much needed family day.

A comprehensive course delivered extremely well, that developed existing knowledge and provided a wealth of information that I was unaware of.

I cannot speak highly enough of what I thought of both the instructor, Dave, and the course itself. I learnt a lot in the two days, and much of this was down to Dave's instruction. I think the fact that it was a smaller group (5 people only) really aided the smooth running of the course, and allowed plenty of time for discussion rather than being a purely instructor led session/lecture sort of thing. It encouraged all involved to be very honest about their experiences and how best to deal with Mental health issues in the workplace and wider world; which all stemmed from Dave's honesty and frank discussion of his own mental health difficulties.

Really enjoyed this. Very relevant to my work and great that it was tailored to my role and experience. The psychosis section of the training was a lightbulb moment as I have had someone recently for whom the signs weren’t recognised, yet I knew something was very wrong.

I got such a lot out of the course, so thank you very much. The course was an excellent mix of interactive with sitting listening and the instructor made the sometimes difficult subject matter relatable, understandable and I feel much better prepared and informed than I did. Very happy with the course and would highly recommend the course and the instructor Kim.
