Fantastic course, I am so grateful for the opportunity to complete this course. Helen was a brilliant instructor and explained everything very well. I have always been open to people who are having a bit of a rough time, now I feel I can deal with these situations in a confident way. I cannot thank you enough for being so open to us as a group. One thing; it would be helpful if there was some sort network or consortium of MHFA's that we can speak with and share resources etc. Not sure if this is something that can be created? I am on countdown to 3 years to have the refresher!
Extremely informative and relatable. Brilliant use of facts and scenarios and very easy to ask questions and discuss as a group. Open discussion made it very easy to communicate and ask any questions without feeling unheard.

Steve and Dave were awesome and I loved how they talked about their own experiences. It made the session more humanised especially when talking about such raw topics and it helped encourage others to speak up and join in too. The course flowed really well and there was a good balance of practical exercises and theory.
Really good course, have answered the same on some questions before and after as I have done the course before but was a while ago so a really good refresher into things. Very professionally delivered and not too serious - thanks both
