The course was very well organised and resources were varied (hands-on tasks, group discussions, role play...). The instructor was calm, respectful and a good listener. The content on different mental health issues was interesting and enlightening. I came away feeling confident in my ability to follow the ALGEE strategy with colleagues, friends and family. Thank you, this was a very worthwhile experience.

Louises knowledge about the subject really showed. She kept us all interested and I could tell she was also really passionate about support for people. It was actually enjoyable for such a subject that at times can be distressing to talk about because of her enthusiasm with giving people the right support.

I have done this course before (not via CAHMs ) and found it to not be of practical use i.e. I didn't feel equipped to deal with situations. After this course quite the opposite, I felt confident and well equipped to spot signs, deal with questioning ,understood ALGEE and know where to sign post or ask for help myself. In addition we are starting to work on a Wellbeing Action plan within the team. I cant stress strongly enough how useful the training was. Thank you Sophie!

Bethan handled the room and materials with sensitivity, yet directly and efficiently, ensuring the rules of the room were clear, fair, consensual and with self care built in.

This far exceeded my expectations. It was the most engaging course I have been on in a long time. Bethan was excellent. To the simple idea of moving to the other side of the room. Was sensitive and visual- two things I really needed.
