I found with the course modules there seemed an expectation to know the answers before you had been taught anything, and feel with the first webinar there could have been a little more focus on what you actually do when approaching somebody for first aid. But both instructors were absolutely great, it was an informative course and I feel I would be confident using what I have learned in a real situation.

All in all a good course. I found the 'ALGEE' a bit repetitive but it was a catalyst to some good discussions. Confidence of the presenters will increase with time as they become more familiar with the content. Good job!

This is a very important area. As more awareness grows about mental health the course has been invaluable in allowing me to feel better equipped in dealing with some of the issues and scenarios raised and to know a little more about this complex subject.

I found the videos in the modules very helpful especially on psychosis. I personally find face to face situations more conducive to learning however I think Sally and Hannah were brilliant, patient and respectful of everyone.

Very informative. I feel a lot more confident in my ability to help people who are in mental health crisis. Found the tutor to be very helpful, knowledgeable and thoughtful. nothing was too much and I was very thankful that he shared known experiences. I found the resources to be easy to navigate. The only thing I would say is how helpful I found the video on psychotic crisis, I feel this type of resource would be more helpful for me to feel more confident in all types of crisis. seeing what I would be seeing is the best way for me to take in information. Over all I really enjoyed the course and the tutor was amazing :)

It was great, but would have preferred to do it in person rather than online.

I enjoyed the course and the course materials/ videos were particularly useful. I will definitely be revisiting the manual.
