Practical scenario work and repeated use of the ALGEE framework help attendees translate mental health first-aid principles into calm, supportive action. They value knowledgeable, empathetic trainers who create safe, inclusive discussions, maintain a clear pace and encourage learning from peers. The blended modules, videos, handbook and breakout exercises build understanding and confidence that transfers to work and personal situations, although some find the online manual awkward to navigate.

The visual aids such as videos were a great help and really help solidify the information in my mind. Rachele was a fantastic instructor and I was happy to learn from her. I felt really comfortable in the training and there was a lovely vibe as we all worked together to understand how to best support people.

The course was very informative, it allowed for open discussions around mental heath and mental illnesses. These discussions both group and individual, allowed for those moments of learning and self development. It was great to go through scenarios, to be able to then know how to use mental health first aid, in supporting someone who may need help. Thank you Rachele, one of the best MH course I have been on.

the course was extremely informative both on-line and webinars. I think I would like to see a refresher course in 12-18 months.

Stephen and Ann were enthusiastic teachers. I enjoyed watching the video clips and talking through the case scenarios. I think role playing the scenarios in pairs perhaps would give better practise in talking through and using methods to help someone in mental distress.
