Excellent training. Thank you so much to the both of you

I felt I learnt a lot from the course as it was a mixture of learning. My understanding and knowledge of the topics covered are greatly improved.

Despite some connectivity issues, the course was well set up, informative and gave the tools needed to be able to support someone if needed.

The course was delivered professionally, really enjoyed.

I really enjoyed the breath of the course and it definitely filled in some of my knowledge gaps particularly about substance misuse which I am unfamiliar with. I thought the ALGEE was a great approach and it was very constructive especially thinking about the self harm aspects as sometimes I just want to fix things for people and in the past I haven't been confident enough to be specific if a learner said they were planning on doing something. I did feel however and this is coming from my experience in Neuro diverse individuals that perhaps the ted doesn't take into account that sometimes the language centre completely shuts down when the amygdala has been triggered. Sometimes if they do not answer you they may not be able to tell you what the matter is and just reassuring them they are safe and distracting are more effective if you are working with an upset neuro diverse learner Being aware of that is really important I think, but I enjoyed the course and I found it really helpful so thank you.

Well delivered course that has equipped me well to offer first aid in mental health. Lots of relevant up to date information used and the course presenters were excellent.
