very informative, however I still feel more experience would be needed in dealing with patients with suicidal thoughts

Very relevant and useful course. Delivered in an excellent manner by a tutor who was very experienced and comfortable talking about the subject.

Informative training. I would feel more comfortable being able to have those uncomfortable conversations when people raise suicide and wanting to take their own life. It’s never an easy subject to discuss but this course has shown how reaching out and taking the time can make a difference to people in need.

The course helped me to develope my strategy and build on my strengths, when speaking about suicide.

Helped give confidence on approaching the conversation, what language to use and options of places to signpost

Couldn’t recommend this training more. I thought it would feel heavy and maybe sad but far from it. I feel informed, prepared and hopeful.

the training was interesting, especially the piece about asking people straight out if they felt suicidal, although i may have difficult speaking to someone about this, I do feel I could ask this question, probably more with family or friends than complete strangers though
