SFA 02 - Suicide First Aid: Understanding Suicide Intervention Reviews

Was really helpful to have the book emailed to us so we could type in it at same time as listening - often come away from courses with paper copies that I don't look at again as stored in cupboard!

It was an enjoyable course on what is an uncomforable subject.

The session was good because there was a lot of conversation (interactive session). I liked the way the presenter had prepared for the role play for an online session.

I would like to thank the team of the organizers and congratulate them on a very successful workshop. The presentation was very good and clear. The information presented in the workshop was very clear and to the point. The instructor was very helpful and very confident about her subjects.

I wish there was more real life examples and situations

would be handy to have the Powerpoint post course for review of questions and answers covered. alot of information to write down in a short period.

Good course for those seeking advice and guidance on how to talk to people about suicide.

A very helpful course, but about an hour too long to be presented by Zoom! (I was fading in the last half hour)

Overall, a difficult topic trained well. There were a few technical difficulties for some learners in accessing the digital workbook. I could access it and print it off, but I couldn't save it or type into it, which would have been useful. I did feel that the course should conclude with a specific section on self care for the person who has done the suicide intervention - as, having previously done it, I know it can have a lasting impact and trauma. Although it was discussed when I raised it, I felt it would not have been addressed if I had raised it.
