This course has been extremely useful to me in my day to day life as well as in my working role. I feel I can use the skills that our tutor has taught us in a positive and safe way and by having the understanding of this sensitive topic, I feel more confident discussing Suicide and being able to help support someone, if that situation happened. Our tutor had a very calm, professional, non judgemental way of communicating with all attending the course, which made the sessions run very well.

It was a very good course for the level it is pitched at. More than enough initial info to help people understand what can be done and how to do it from the SFA viewpoint. I would recommend this course to others.

very good materials, and information to give a greater understanding of the things to consider when talking about suicide and how best to approach it in a considerate, kind but direct manner to understand risk and to encourage the other person to talk openly about what is going on.
