I enjoyed the course and the pace was good. It is hard to prepare for every eventuality. It was useful to remind not to give answers but to try to initiate them from the person

Well worth attending as I feel that I have skills and knowledge of how to support someone who may be feeling suicidal. I am aware of professionals who to signpost to and how important it is to look after myself when supporting others.

Excellent course, thank you. This has really given me the confidence to try to help, if suicide is a possibility

Excellent course, only marred by Zoom problems with internet sound going at times, more frequently in last hour and the occasional screen freezing. I was surprised at I have superfibre connect and do not tend to have any issues with internet.

I have already used some of the skills learned on this course in my every day work. Particularly around how I encourage managers to reflect on how we use direct questioning and specific language when opening up a dialogue with people around their mental health, to create a safe and authentic space to talk. Thank you!Response : That's great, Emma thank you for sharing this and thank you for your feedback.
