It was important session to understand very burning social issue of suicidal deaths. In the context of today (covid 19)some people (individuals)around us are facing stress problems due to loss of relatives, financial problems and due to all this they might take extreme step to harm themselves. This training session was useful for me to observe and understand people with different and abnormal behavior .
I was able to clear misconceptions and doubts I had before. Learnt how to go approach a situation if arises. And what are the steps involved in suicide prevention.
On the whole the session was exciting enough for me to learn new things on Suicide First Aid. This is of course help to rejuvenate mental well being of self and help me to identify such cases, where people need psycho-social support.
In was really nice session and I am glad to being part of this training. Virtual sessions really helpful during this difficult time also helps to enhance details information of SAF.

The training was good but it was very long for vartualy and thank you for the give two break.
An excellent course conducted by a capable trainer. I felt at ease with the subject and could relate to the points being taught. Some misconceptions were also clarified. The emphasis on doing what one can to help but seek professional help when required was a key takeaway.
