Extremely useful and informative session - definitely interested in going the full day course now. One tiny thing I spotted - in the slide that explained step 3 - the word desperation was incorrectly spelt. I am terrible for spotting mistakes in things.......

This course really helped me to see that it is ok to talk about suicide and that the tools that we can use are the same ones we would employ to talk to people about other issues they may be facing in life. It gave me more confidence that I would be able recognise and to support someone if they were having thoughts of suicide.

I was so encouraged that by the end of the session I felt confident that I could support somebody who I might encounter today - as the learning and skills become more embedded in my mind I feel I will be able to give appropriate support
