The course brought home that it is not only patients that I may need to ask 'are you thinking about suicide' and how much harder I may find asking a loved one the question around suicide.. at work we generally have an idea that this is what they could potentially be feeling/thinking but it made me think about the people that may not be reaching out for help in my own life.
