Very good course. I feel that I have the knowledge to recognise someone in distress and someone who may have thoughts of suicide. I feel confident in how I can approach the topic of suicide with them and then exploring their immediate safety and what I can do to help them and to signpost them to the various/appropriate resources.

I think the training session today was really valuable and for my job role working with students has made me feel more comfortable in how to deal with a student if they express thoughts or behaviours of suicide.
