I think the workshop is catered to recognizing signs and giving help. However there are cases where people go about seemingly normal and you have no idea of their thoughts. There should also be an opportunity to learn self help and coping strategies because someone will not always be available to talk to or help.

The course was really useful to help confront the language around suicide and how to confront the topic head on.

It was a good introductory knowledge of suicide for me since I'm pursuing a psychology degree in counselling. I will look at and speak about this topic differently. I'm happy I attended this engaging workshop .
