AI summary of reviews

Practical tools and lively interaction are the course’s clearest strengths: attendees value knowledgeable, enthusiastic trainers who explain models clearly, use relatable examples, discussion, breakout work and role-play, and create a welcoming atmosphere. They find the sessions informative, well structured and thought-provoking, with learning that builds confidence and translates readily into day-to-day work. Some feel the content can be dense or the session long, but varied activities help sustain engagement.

Very good level of engagement, the trainer was excellent and ensuring everyone was included and engaged. Good group size. Great slides and engaging powerpoint materials used. Good balance of listening and practical.

I had a few EA related IT issues so missed a lot of the first session. This meant I found the final section a little difficult as I'd missed content.

The course ran really well over Microsoft Teams. The timings were well thought out with well placed breaks. The individual elements of the course built up nicely and brought it back to the original problem raised by individuals at the beginning of the course.

Well organised, I was sceptical about an on-line course but was very impressed with it and particularly the trainer. Thank you Richard

It was full of good content on how to influence, What would really help would be to have a section of how to handle it when influencing not working. Really good example was on the active listening seciton where said if come back all defensive don't go to stage two, go back to stage 1 etc. ie it's good to have ideas of what to do but even better is to know how to move on when things aren't going right and get back on track, try something else.

The subject matter was good and explained how managers need to think about themselves as managers as well as the ability, values and motivation of the staff that they manage. The pace of the session was good though it was affected by the fact that the session was virtual which made interaction challenging.

I felt Rich was very inclusive, I liked that he geared his discussion to the work & aims of the EA and also discussed and encouraged thoughts and input from us all, not just telling us the right answer / approach
