The course explained well about safety, how to perform switching operations , issuing permit works in a safe manner. The course also gave an overview of the protection systems used in a power system. Moreover, All modules taught was included by practical training which helped me to experience with real world experience. The tutors are extremely experienced and I am happy to get trained under them

Russell was amazing and one of the best instructors I've ever come across. He has an impressive background in the field which immediately garnered respect. He didn't make anyone feel like they weren't good enough and was very understanding of those who were still new to the topics/ equipment being covered throughout the course; which made you feel comfortable to ask as many questions as needed without worry. Overall was a pleasure and highly recommend that he be commended. The Faraday Center itself was also very well equipped with its wide range of switchgear which gives everyone a chance to work on equipment they use in their various workplace'; while also experience lots of different types they wouldn't normally interact with. The Center was well organized and the food was good enough to keep you going through the day.

Best course I have been on. Russell was an excellent trainer, highly knowledgable and a nice guy in general. The centre its self was brilliant, the workshop is the best I have seen and trained in.
Had Russ and Gary take this course both gave me excellent knowledge and understanding about HV systems. Very approachable and answered any questions I had. My understanding of HV system has vastly increased

I am very impressed about the course. Now I can confidently Isolate, reinstate and issue a high voltage to work permit when authorised to do so.
This has been an eye opener for me, I have fully gained lots of knowledge on High voltage and how to safely execute jobs around High Voltage. Our trainer was patient, really patient and has a very clear English accent. He took time to explain even outside the training hours and during as well. This made the training much better. I hope I get to see him again.
