Very useful refresher - time to share experiences, successes, development with others. Relaxed but productive environment. Emphasis on key principles of PBS but focus on physical skills too. Inspirational session. Thank you

Kirstie creates a very safe and calm training room. It is easy for participants to ask questions and discuss things. I am conscious that as an associate trainer I have not been seen to demonstrate all the physical skills during the refresher, as we would for our own staff refreshers. I brought my own questions and queries and remain confident in my own delivery of the teaching and practice of the skills but I could be concerned around other AT confidence and competency if they have not had opportunity to demonstrate all the skills.Response : Hi Tom. Thank you for taking the time to leave detailed feedback. Unfortunately, there is not time for every trainer to deliver every skill and the idea of a refresher is to recap rather than reteach. As you know from the recent observation in your organisation, we observe all associate trainers delivering in their environment in their first year of training and therefore are confident that we have robust measures in place to ensure trainer competence. Where trainers either self-identify as lacking confidence, or this is observed by others, extra support is provided on an individual basis. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to discuss this further.
