RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,216 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

I was hesitant to do this course but after learning their safe techniques. I was reassured that restraints were not what I thought they were. I felt confident I will be able to keep my patients and myself safe

Practical was very informative. Took away a lot as the skills all linked together so was not as hard to remember.

Thank you so much. This was really helpful, and I feel much more confident in using restraints in practice and feel I can now do this safely. Jack was kind and patient, and the course was really informative.

Jack is extremely knowledgeable and presents information in a way that makes learning enjoyable and engaging. I had Jack for both my level 2 and Level 3 and I feel like I have learnt so much from his knowledge and experience. We did mention that when inserting a gripper into a child for IV access i may not be able to hold with using my leg and if there was another way and Jack went to seek advice from his management. Very professional. Thank you Jack.
