RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,189 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Rachael and Andy are amazing trainers. Learnt so much and feel well prepared to begin my journey in a Residential Home for the first time. Very enthusiastic and clearly care about their job. Would definitely recommend this training.

Fantastic- easy to understand follow and plenty of time to practice. Will implement visuals and make reflection more centered approach.

The lead trainer was really easy to understand! Everything had a breakdown and going to be easier to apply in school content

Brillant course. Outlining all theory and ensuring everyone is capable and able to use the skills effectively to protect the safety of young people. Taken aspects back to school to prevent restraints being used

Wow, well done Rachael! Very knowledgable. Very professional. Obviously very experienced. I hope I can be as confident trainer as her! I would like part of the session to be; put yourself in x situation, how would you react. And the trainers could give their professional advice on how we could react to different situations. Eg, your child has run away, your child is refusing to eat etc ( although I expect your answer to be it depends on the child!) Thankyou!
