RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,189 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Absolutely fantastic. Andy taught me things in a way I could understand and made everything crystal clear. If I was unsure of anything, he would be happy to go back over it. A very positive and upbeat gent who left me feeling very positive and confident about the role I have been employed to do.

Wow! This course is an eyeopener for anyone who works with people with Autism. Gone is the phrase "Challenging Behaviour" . Now described as "Behaviours of Concern". The great thing about Ben is that he actually still works with people who we are being trained to work with. This alone makes the course MORE RELEVANT!. Ben makes the course fun, relating his work experiences to what we are learning. many course I have been on have trainers who USED to work in the this sector. I am already putting into practice some of what I have learnt and have realised that the company I used to work for were doing it so wrong even with a staff boasting over 60 years of combined experience.
