RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,285 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

I have adhd and struggle with concentration over prolonged periods of time, the course was engaging and periodic breaks through were very welcomed. Very knowledgable about the care setting and having had actual experience it shows.

The training was really useful and after having to use a previous restraint technique , i will never go back. PBS is a much more useful, child centred and safer way of keeping the children safe.i feel much safer working with the child now and if as a very last option i know the skills PBS has taught me will help me to keep the child as safe as possible as well as myself a colleagues

Our trainers Ben and Racheal, have made our team understand how important it is to use restrain as a last resort and not as a punishment, their stories and overall vibe was understanding, informative and extremely comical but realistic and very relatable. Brilliant course enjoyed every moment .
