RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,287 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Absolutely fantastic training, Andy was very informative and helpful. He explained everything in great detail, in a way that was relatable. Thank you so much for providing such a detailed course, I found it very interesting and helpful. I’ve learnt so much in 3 days and I am very grateful. Thank you Andy!

Both trainers were really knowledgeable and able to put information into context and into real life situations. They had both been experienced in the area and really good at answering any questions being able to relate it again to real situations. Both really approachable, Fiona especially would be good at getting us to the answer the questions rather than just relay the information. Also lots of group activities to keep it engaging as much as possible.

Excellent coverage of the theory and practical skills, with a good balance between the two. The trainers came across as really knowledgeable about the subject. I felt supported and all feedback received was positive and really constructive. Most importantly, despite the heavy theoretical and practical coverage, the trainers managed to keep the sessions fun and engaging. Thank you.

All very informative, both from pack, Andy and Dan. Good humour during the training which is essential when being ‘hands on’ in potentially uncomfortable situations.
