RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,141 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Fabulous delivery and very interesting, they delivered it in a way I found easy to understand and helped me to relate it in actual situations and will help me understand and guide and support in services around the quality assurance with recording when behaviours of concern happen. There's alot of theory and big words used that some staff might not fully understand but Stacey was able to put alot of these across in lamens terms.

Attending a 3 days course on PBS has helped me to develop a number of skills such as how to deal with SEN kids, provide a safe environment for them and how to restrain if there is a need; which are crucial in a school setting especially when it comes to be working with SEN students. The trainer has been amazing throughout the course. She took care of every participant and discussed key ideas on how to maximise the positive behaviour support and help the children with special needs to improve their learning and life skills.
