RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,163 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Kirsty’s knowledge of the course material was brilliant which she anchored in real life stories, and this along with approachable style, made it one of the best course I have been on. This course has underlined the importance of knowing our citizens and becoming more proactive at the primary and secondary stages of the gradients of control. I will immediately start to reflect on how I can use PBS in my support of our citizens. Thanks Kirsty.
