RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,163 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

I really enjoy the course and learned a lot. Coming from a military back ground and working on the doors this course has show me a new way and changed the way I think about security. Its made me start thinking from the persons point of view and to consider their feelings

An absolute fantastic course!!! I learnt so much. I was a Door Supervisor before this and what the door industry is doing is wrong on handling customers in restraint techniques. The SIA should really speak to Sherwood Training without question. The 3 days were so informative and Steve and Ben the instructors were so good.

The things I have learned from Ben and Steve have really sunk in. The baseline, distraction techniques have really been something that I myself in my profession have been missing. The methods in keeping people safe is much better than what I had been trained to do previously.
