RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,218 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

I really enjoyed this course, it is so relevant and necessary for our role, and for the safety of our members and staff. John the trainer was excellent throughout, very professional, knowledgeable and engaging and passionate within his training. John made the course, interesting, meaningful and fun. It is difficult to maintain momentum on a three full days course, but John managed this. Thank you .

The course was very informative, Liam was very engaging with everybody and worked with us individually if needed, he was thorough in his explanation and helped us under stand the more less restrictive ways and best restrictive practices to use that are safe for us and our service users. He really helped me to understand the holds especially with footing and no question was a silly question we brought up scenarios that have happened and if he thought we could do anything different and have us a deeper understanding of everything involved. That I can take back and use in practice (hopefully not needed).

This training was absolutely phenomenal and and so informational. The course and trainer has supplied incredible skills and practices throughout the course efficiently and consistently. This training has provided me with skills and practices to be able to return to site and much more skilled and confident support worker. Liam’s approach on the group was fantastic including how he delivered to everyone and how he was able to adapt to each and every trainee undergoing this training. Liam is a credit to Sherwood and the health and social industry in general. I truely believe any trainee who undergoing liams training will be better off for it. Its been a pleasure

I really have enjoyed the training that has been provided and conducted by Liam. I have learnt so many new things that I am able to put into practice within my job role. I have worked in health care for a long time and to be taught minimal contact and the effectiveness of the training will provide so much more person centred approaches.
