RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,218 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Lee was absolutely incredible! He made sure we all understood everything. I enjoyed how informative he was regarding the legislations. I also like the fact he shared personal experiences. I very much appreciated his detailed approach to ensure we understood the holds and restraints. Lee was fantastic and I wish him all the best in the future.

Lee was very knowledgeable, pleasant and enthusiastic. Lee gave room for discussion but also kept the team on track and on target. Lee always left room for questions and was very reassuring and patient throughout. Lee showed passion dedication and experience in the training. The restraint techniques he ensured we were confident in before moving to the next. Very grateful to understand PBS.

The course is educative, with proper steps starting from the Arousal model to the health and safety and non restrictive reactive strategies to restrictive reactive strategies. The trainer was well organized.
