RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,216 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

The overall course was enjoyable. Liam was a great course leader, he engaged the whole group throughout, made everyones feel validated and answered everyones questions fully. It was a very hot week weather wise and Liam was proactive in making sure everyone kept hydrated with appropriate breaks. Our personal feed back at the end of the course was supportive and encouraging. This is my first experience with Sherwood and i feel knowledgeable in moving forward safely working and supporting our young people. Thankyou Liam

Liam was absolutely brilliant and he shared his knowledge in a manner that enabled me to learn. It was definitely NOT just another PowerPoint presentation read out loud! Liam was present and switched on entire time, answered all my questions and willingly clarified everything I needed him to clarify for me. Definitely right man in a right role!

I have learnt alot about PBS, firstly to have a good approach to the service users and to see behaviour as a means of communication.
