RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,216 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

The trainer was great. Leant a lot from the level 3 training. I learned using restrictive method as last resort.

I have really enjoyed the training because I was able to refresh my memories on the techniques of restrictions in much more effective strategies without inflicting pains on the person I am supporting, myself and others.

The trainers were both absolutely amazing. I felt comfortable to ask questions and well looked after. The delivery of Amy’s work was very well delivered. She ensure it was broken down in chunks for the group to be able to absorb information. I have no improvement for them as I honestly was so please with everything. The only thing I would recommend is some visual aids or notes of the holds in the book to refer to. It can be hard to remember them all but having something to refer back too in the booklet would be useful.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and found it incredibly valuable. From the start, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I felt comfortable throughout. The training materials were easy to understand and retain, making it simple to apply what I learned. The trainers were amazing—knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely supportive. They created an inclusive and engaging environment where everyone felt encouraged to participate. The pace of the course was just right, allowing us to absorb the content without feeling rushed. What stood out most was the sense of camaraderie, with everyone supporting each other and contributing to a positive learning experience. Thank you for such an enriching and enjoyable course!
