RRN Level 3: Restrictive Physical Intervention reviews

4.9 (6,216 reviews)
AI summary of reviews

Practical, safety-focused learning is the course’s defining strength: attendees say it links clear theory on positive behaviour support, de-escalation, law, dignity and least-restrictive practice to step-by-step demonstrations, realistic scenarios and repeated practice. They value knowledgeable, patient and approachable trainers who use humour, lived experience and feedback to keep demanding subjects engaging, inclusive and easy to understand. The well-organised sessions build confidence that transfers directly to supporting children, patients and service users at work, although some find the theory lengthy.

Really enjoyed this training! I learnt a lot and found the training easy to follow and feel confident in using the techniques I have learnt in the workplace. Jamie was friendly and professional in his approach and I value his experience and time given.

Jamie was really good trainer with the way he explained things and he was very clear in the way he demonstrated the restraints. He was patient and attentive. Jamie also made all of us feel confortable and able to demonstrate what we learnt.

Amazing course! This is my first time doing anything of this kind and the strategies are realistic easy and also very safe to use. The gradient control and the arousal model just be taught to more people, not only in mental health and LD industries but in society in general. Kristy briggs and Jamie woolly were friendly bubbly incitful and very welcoming and I would recommend sherwood training to my family and colleagues throughly enjoyed and would In no hesitation would do it again.
