Darren was a great teacher. He took the time, always asked if we understood and went over anything we were not sure on. He really was fantastic. He was very patient, and helpful.

Darren delivered the course with a down-to-earth and straightforward approach. I really appreciated his sense of humour, as well as his moments of more seriousness and sensitivity. He gave us lots of helpful tips and was also happy to answer any questions or concerns we had. I also liked the way that he encouraged us to reflect on our current H&S/First Aid practices and use our learning to take them to even better standards. Most particularly, I was incredibly pleased that he was so conscientious and engaged with the ED&I aspects of First Aid training. He emphasised how different characteristics and personal factors must be taken into account to give everyone the best first aid care — not just in the quality/success of the first aid itself, but also the dignity and comfort of the person(s) we're treating. As someone who contributes towards ED&I in my company, this was very inspiring.
