Kev went into great detail throughout the course and was always happy to help if we were confused or had a question

Very little practical hands on content. I appreciate the new Covid environment, but the contrast with previous courses is stark.

We spent a lot of time on Defibs which seemed excessive when only one store out of around 12 in attendance had one. The course then skips through some of the most common First Aid calls in stores ie cuts, scrapes and burns. The only practical we did was on resuscitation and nothing on bandages which was always quite useful.

The trainer was very friendly, clear and easy to understand and explained everything really well.

Great trainer very thorough and made the day fun which is a bonus as things like this can drag and be boring, the trainer answered all the questions that were asked with enthusiasm and had great knowledge. I was a first aider for years both in the forces and in civi street but let my certificate lapse due to my previous employers not needing any in the work place and not being able to finance it myself, so, getting back into it was really enjoyable. 👋👋👋

I believe the course could have been shorter if it wasnt for the trainer and his life stories that he felt the need to share with us. The training itself was very interesting although some of the material could have been explained in greater details.
