The training was interesting and knowledge was impacted
I think the Oliver McGowan course for medical professionals being 7 hours long is too much, it covers lots of ground that has already been covered in the e learning and the key aspects could be delivered online much more concisely over approx 1-2 hours. Slides were outdated and the engagement of the guest speakers was mixed (on phone, asleep). The room was split into 2 and the noise from the other room was distracting.
I learned a lot on how to interact ,understand and better manage people with learning disabilities and autism . The course is so enriching and I recommend people to come if they are chanced
Very educative and informative discussion with live experience individual to share their life experiences was very educative and lively
I really enjoyed the training, and I can honestly say that my skills and knowledge have developed as a result of the training, and my confidence in supporting autistic people and people with learning disabilities has grown. Andra was incredible, you can tell she truly truly cares and is passionate about advocating for autistic people, she's such an inspiration!
