Everything excellent until EPA manager took over. After a formal complaint all was resolved with a new EPA manager

I do think Deere need to look at their EPA process / EPA manager as this is where the whole apprenticeship could have failed for me. A big thank you to Louise as well with her help with EPA prep

Overall, I have found DEERE Apprenticeships to be extremely supportive throughout my learning and development journey. The programme provided not only strong academic and professional support, but also valuable emotional wellbeing support through the Be Inspired coaching, mentoring, and counselling sessions, which I found particularly beneficial during challenging periods. The support available for key skills, including English and maths, was also very positive and accessible. Communication throughout the apprenticeship was excellent, with regular emails, newsletters, and information bulletins ensuring I was always aware of upcoming events, course modules, and wider opportunities. This helped me feel informed, organised, and well-supported throughout the programme. Louise Gozzard has been an amazing tutor throughout the apprenticeship; a real champion of people and professional development, bringing a human approach and humour to her teaching and support. Her encouragement, understanding, and belief in my potential made a significant difference to my experience, and I cannot thank her enough. Overall, my experience has been highly positive and has contributed significantly to both my personal and professional growth as a senior leader.

Louise, Jane and Catherine have all been a really big help during my apprenticeship, all approachable, knowledgeable and helped me to get to the distinction level.

Jane has provided exceptional support throughout my Level 7 studies so far, and her input has played a significant role in my development both professionally and personally. Alongside the challenges of balancing study with my responsibilities in the service, I also faced my own difficulties with confidence and trusting my own abilities. Jane recognised this early on and responded with patience, encouragement, and consistent reassurance. She created a supportive environment where I felt safe to ask questions, reflect openly, and explore new ideas without any fear of judgement. Her belief in my capability helped me build confidence and recognise my strengths. Jane’s guidance, constructive feedback, and willingness to make space for honest conversations have been invaluable in helping me overcome any self‑doubt. Her support not only enabled me to stay focused and progress through, but also strengthened my resilience and confidence. I am genuinely grateful for the time, understanding, and care she has shown throughout this process.
