I think so far there have been really interesting parts to this course and the psychology behind the sections can really strike a cord. I think this would be a good course for those that- as its titled are up and coming in leadership roles. I have not given it 5/5 for meeting my personal objectives, as I think what I keep hoping for is more of the practical advice - different ways to run a meeting, the basics of how to make change well eg/ OK good weve all recognised that we need to ask everyone's opinions, but who has thought of the governance implications, did anyone think about the needs to go through existing policy groups and what happens if you dont etc. I guess Im hoping for more directly practical advice as well as my own personal growth, and there has been some of this. I think everyone in our group is from the NHS, so these are all common considerations that we will all face.

Felt pre course work and course content did not marry up as well as previous sessions. I enjoyed the pre work and thought more might feature today around empowerment and change. However today has been insightful and there has been a lot of information and ideas shared that have been useful.

Good course. It is hard to take all the information in. I think some of the sessions would be better done face to face.

I think it may sometime be helpful to have scenarios ready for the breakout rooms, either by asking the delegates to bring examples of… or provide some by the facilitator. Time is wasted in the breakout rooms sometime by trying to think of examples in a short amount of time whilst still trying to get to know people. I also think is it more beneficial if we stay with the same groups through the session, this helps bring rapport and build on experiences. I really enjoyed today’s session, thank you :)
